Home › NewsArchived News 2009In House Tournament - 2nd Leg

May 10th saw more new faces attending the in house tournament. Lewis and Levi were on great form condsidering it was their 1st in house competition. They opened up with a cracking fight where only 1 point seperated them after a 2 round battle. Unfortunately for both, we had Thomas who is a seasoned fighter with the in house comps, in their category as well.

In a repeat of the last leg we had aaron and stephen battling it out for supremacy. Aaron came up short against a rejuvenated Stephen who was forward thinking in attack.

In a role reversal situation we had Eshan over turning the result of the last competition. This category is building up to be a close encounter with Eshan and Joe both scoring wins over each other.

Speed and accuracy won Shane his category. Fighting at a pace that would give many circuit fighters some trouble. Raven's movement was excellent but on this occasion wasn't enough. The results of this event have turned this category upside down where the overall winner will come down to the final event.

JD one her category by default as no one else turned up. We then put JD into the next category up stepped up to the plate by winning that as well. Alistair had an excellent fight for his 1st time and Sam is beginning to find his feet with a good 2nd.

Rie fought Tina in a one sided event but considering Tina was out for her birthday the night before, we will let her off. Taking nothing away from Rie, her speed is still there as work commitments recently have hampered her training.

Jeremy's points fighting has improved a great deal and made John work for his progression to the final. John met Sheawn in a repeat of the last in house event final. The result was the same where John came out on top. Will got a well deserved third.
