Sparring features in weekly classes, and our dedicated sparring classes are an excellent complement to ensure fast improvement in this essential discipline. We practice various types of sparring – both contact and non-contact – along with footwork, evasion and defence, counter attacks and body conditioning.
Sparring will refine your reactions and help improve your tactics. You will gain experience in light continuous sparring and point fighting techniques to give you a well-rounded experience and a thorough understanding of the sport. Through our optional sparring classes you will fight in a closely supervised environment with many partners; this will skill you in adapting to various styles of attack. There are opportunities to compete in competitions and tournaments.
